Falkirk agrees to terms with Finnigan

07/03/2009 - Falkirk, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Falkirk have agreed to a new contract with free agent striker Carl Finnigan.

Finnigan, 22, scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Bairns last season despite missing large portions of the year through injury.

"I know Carl was in and out at the tail end of last season when he was hampered by injuries and illness, but he has fantastic qualities," said new manager Eddie May.

Meanwhile, May is also hoping to re-sign former midfielder Marc Twaddle following two seasons at Partick Thistle.

He added: "We have also made an enquiry to Thistle about Marc and we are waiting to hear back whether it will be positive."

Points (or Runs) Scored

Another bet across all major team sports including football, basketball, baseball, and hockey involves wagering on the amount of scoring in a game, called an Over/Under total. For example, the Over/Under total on Super Bowl XXXIX was 48, which means a bettor could wager whether there would be more or less than 48 points scored by both teams combined in the game.

The final score of Super Bowl XXXIX was 24-21; the scoring of both teams added up to 45, which means the game went Under . So Under bettors won, and Over bettors lost.

Will he or won't he?  Now that the Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach in Wade Phillips, the big question will be: Does Terrell Owens stay with the team.

Jerry Jones continues to suggest that Terrell Owens will remain with the team.
