Gulbis returns to world top 20

01/22/2007 - Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Despite not playing this past week, Natalie Gulbis moved up one place to return to the top 20 in the Rolex World Rankings.

The top 10 in the rankings remained unchanged from a week ago. Annika Sorenstam held steady at No. 1 and was followed by Lorena Ochoa, Karrie Webb, Cristie Kerr, Juli Inkster, Ai Miyazato, Jeong Jang, Paula Creamer, Shiho Ohyama and Se-Ri Pak.

Pat Hurst, who teamed with Inkster to represent the U.S. in the Women's World Cup of Golf last weekend, inched up one place to 11th. That bumped Michelle Wie down to 12th.

The next four players -- Hee-Won Han, Mi Hyun Kim, Yuri Fudoh and Julieta Granada -- maintained their positions from a week ago.

Seon-Hwa Lee knocked Akiko Fukushima down a spot to 18th. Jee Young Lee was up one to 19th, while Gulbis was also up a space to 20th. Sakura Yokomine dropped two places to 21st to make room for Lee and Gulbis' movement.
